CARE & MAINTENANCE
The Dial-Tesla Coil (DTC) is designed for ease of use and long-term performance, requiring minimal daily upkeep.
Daily Care
No daily maintenance is required. Simply turn it on and enjoy.
If dust accumulates, you can gently clean the exterior of the primary box, coil tower, and power box using a soft towel or microfiber cloth.
Do NOT spray liquids directly onto any part of the DTC.
Routine Maintenance
While the DTC is built for extended use, regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance. Please refer to the Warranty for instructions on how to obtain service.
Every 1,500 Hours:
Electrode adjustment (part of the spark gap)
Belt replacement
This is covered under the One-Year Limited Warranty for the original owner, for the life of the machine.
Every 5,000–6,000 Hours:
Full spark gap service: bearings, electrodes, and belt replacement
These are considered consumables and are the user’s responsibility.
Estimated cost: $200–$300
Example: 1,500 hours = about 6 months of use at 10 hours/day, 7 days a week.
The rest of the unit is designed to last the lifetime of the device with no major servicing.
Service and Repairs
The DTC is modular and built for easy maintenance. Parts can be removed and shipped back to our service center for repair or replacement.
There are two approved servicing methods:
Remote Assistance – If you’re comfortable, you can work with a DTC technician via phone, Skype, or FaceTimeto remove the necessary part.
We also offer step-by-step video guides. Contact us for access.
Certified Service Professional – A technician approved by DTC staff.
Warning: Unauthorized opening of the panels or tampering with internal components will void your warranty.
Tesla-Dial Coil Parts & Warranty
Your DTC is covered by a One-Year Limited Warranty. Occasionally, components such as transformers or bearingsmay fail due to manufacturer variability. While we aim for the highest quality, some parts are sourced internationally and we sometimes have limited options.
As stated in our warranty, if a defect is found, we will repair or replace the defective part at our cost.
We’re working toward having more parts custom-made in the USA, but as a small and growing company, that shift would currently raise the overall cost of the DTC.
