SET UP & REQUIREMENTS

What's Included with Your DTC

Your DTC arrives in five main components:

  • Power Box

  • Primary Coil

  • Secondary Coil

  • Bulb

  • Exhaust System

Also included:

  • 3 interconnection cables

  • 1 power cord

  • A small pouch with silver grease applicators for cable connections

Choosing the Right Spot

Before unpacking, decide where you’d like to set up your DTC. We recommend a location that’s both comfortable and easily accessible.

Popular setup options:

  • Central space (living room/family room) : With recliners arranged around it for shared use.

  • FOR INDOOR USE ONLY

Set Up Requirements

  • Be comfortable! A recliner or couch are good, put the DTC in a quiet place and where it will be used the most.

When you use the DTC make sure that your feet are pointed at the coil tower, I’ve found that alignment is important, sitting sideways to it does not produce the same effect, it lessens the effect. Animals it doesn’t seem to matter as much, a lot of people have their animals in their laps and they get treated, but interesting enough most times the animals end up facing the coil between their humans’ legs!

  • The DTC’s power requirements are low, it takes a dedicated circuit with just a 20amp rating at 120V @ (5.8amps) 700 watts.

If you are unsure if you have a dedicated 20amp circuit contact a local electrician.  Please keep in mind the TDC is like installing any major appliance and needs to be on the correct electrical circuit.

As stated, the DTC uses a standard 20amp outlet with a good ground, one with a 3 hole socket.  Do not plug the DTC into a 2 hole outlet.  A 2 hole outlet will cause damage to the TDC because it does not provide a ground.  Do not plug the TDC into a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit outlet.  If the DTC is plugged in to the GFI it will blow the DTC breaker causing damage.

We cannot tell whether or not your computers or cell phones will work next to the DTC.  Most do but some older computers and cell phones/equipment that have not been properly shielded might have problems.  Most TVs, computers, and cell phones work next to the DTC but if you are experiencing problems move them at least 8 feet away.

  • Once you’ve figured out where you want to use your DTC, decide how long you want or need to use it. For general upkeep, 1–2 hours a day is typically enough. We prefer to sleep in front of the DTC, which gives us around 4 hours of use each night. On days when we’ve worked hard around the farm and feel the burn, we might set the timer for 5 hours.

For injuries or health challenges, the recommended time varies depending on the type and severity of the issue. Some people with major damage or illness—especially those unable to work—choose to sit in front of the DTC for several hours a day.

Set your timer to your desired duration, press the blue button on the box to turn the DTC on, and either relax in a recliner. The DTC will shut off automatically when the timer runs out, or you can press the red button to turn it off manually.

Note: The cooling fans will continue running for about 10 minutes after the DTC is turned off—this is normal and ensures proper shutdown.

For best results, sit or lie down with your feet elevated, uncrossed, 1–3 feet from the coil, and pointed directly at the DTC. Sitting sideways to the coil reduces its effectiveness.

  • At this time we do not know of any contraindications for the DTC. That said not everyone aligns or responds to this technology, some people don’t feel anything, some feel too much. Use this technology at your own discretion.

  • You can eat, drink, or use most cell phones while using the DTC, but the most effective way to benefit from it is by falling asleep and letting your body fully rest and repair.

    Electronics and Placement:
Most computers and TVs function normally if kept 6–8 feet away from the DTC. Performance can vary depending on your home’s electrical wiring and the age of the system.

    Safety Note:
The DTC does not emit lightning bolts like traditional Tesla coils. However, if you touch the coil tower or bulb while the DTC is running, you may draw a small electrical arc. It won’t harm you—though it can be startling. Some people even enjoy demonstrating this mini “lightning bolt” effect!

  • While using the DTC, you may feel odd or unusual sensations that come and go. This is considered normal, especially in areas where the body is healing from old injuries.

If the sensation feels too intense, move your recliner back. Many users find that simply adjusting their distance by a foot or two can significantly reduce the intensity without reducing the DTC’s effectiveness.

If you or someone you know is sensitive to energy or sensation, start slowly. You might feel:

    • Tingling in specific parts of the body (often where there’s been damage)

    • A “spacey” or floaty feeling

    • Shifts in mood or body awareness

To ease into the experience, try sitting 2–3 feet or more away from the coil and gradually adjust forward over time as your body adapts.
